Eh, I meaaaan, I see why people would feel skeptical about the pose and the picture overall. What people aren't realizing is that the girl is washing her hands and has a funny looking wig on; therefore her father is looking at her with the look saying, "What the hell is that?". Don't get me wrong, I thought it looked skeptical, but let's be real people, look at the picture for how it is and not what you're assuming.
This guy has been getting so many negative comments while others are defending him. Being as though you can see that the young girl is his child, maybe the picture could have been taken differently. If anything, look at the clues and you tell me what you think?
Let me know your thoughts!
I'm not here to present facts but I don't know what a black man personally go through. I'm writing this post because everybody has talked about Kanye West getting in his feelings but there were other facts presented about this month being the month his mom passed. On the other hand there was also an old video with Dave Chapelle asking what's going on in Hollywood to black men. Really what's going on to black men in media and in general?
I can only imagine what a black man had to go through just because of the skin he is in. Black men are looked as scary, killers, robbers and all of the above under such negative notions. Black men are a threat and for the simplest things they get taken down and taken away from their families. What's bad is that the system we live under refuses to look at the black man under the same notion as a white man.
Black men do take care of their families and their children too. They are also very supportive. Sometimes with the media, it gets turned around because of what is being done to the black man. The media always shows men dressing in female clothing, men are now becoming the females and it's becoming prevalent that majority of black men can't deal with a black woman. We don't know what's going on behind closed doors when it comes to black men but it's tearing them down.
From music to comedy, black men are becoming entertainment and used as just a token to white men and white women to brag about. If you believe other wise, when you have you ever seen a black praised for the right thing for his own people? The black is getting praised for being a coon or doing something to get the white man ahead. The black man knows what he's doing but if he doesn't want to do it, imagine how bad that eats him up knowing he isn't treated like his worth. Imagine him being surrounded by attention and fake people who want the worst for him. There's people like Kanye and then there's people like J. Cole. Think about it.
Okay, Okay, Okay!!! So I haven't listened to Kehalni in a while not because she has bad music though. You know how someone has a great hit and you're waiting for another just like it to come out? No? Well that's what I do lol. I just listened to her new song, "Distraction" and I love it!!! Also I love the look and the choreography with her and Jordun Love whom I think is a great fashion model.
Kehlani is a great artist and can sing her ass off!!! When I heard her song "The Way", I didn't expect her to sing like that but I was impressed. This new single has me impressed again! Her new look, this song and her cool vibe is everything. I follow her on the Instagram (@Kehlani) and she's someone I would want to meet and hang out with her.

Thanks to Chante (@chante2times) for giving me the opportunity of being apart of the 4th anniversary of Milano. I was super excited to meet the owner, Milan (@iammilanrouge). Everything was just as I expected. LIT and full of fun!!! Last night was actually my first time walking into the store and getting a look at how everything turned out. The store looks amazing and the items are top notch. As you can see below I copped up on a Milano skully and crewnceck. 👇🏾
In addition, there was an amazing Dj (djwayne_stackz). He did his thing on the ones and twos. Also there were amazing cupcakes and the drinks were delicious as well. Everyone that came through to celebrate had their top notch Milano wear on. Not to mention, everyone got in position for the "Mannquin Challenge and it was a success. The event turned out successful and I can't wait to see what Milan has in store for us next!!! If you haven't check out her store, it is located at 1509 Spring Garden St. If you can't make it there, you can always visit the site at MilanoDiRouge.com. Enjoy!
Last night I sat down in a chair and constantly kept checking IG for updates to see who's winning the election. I heard Trump won Florida and immediately called my grandmother. I called to check up on her but I wanted to know how she felt about it. Her response was she wasn't worried because God is in charge.
I woke up this morning and I went to the bathroom. I was sitting in the bathroom for about thirty minutes before getting in the shower. A lot just was on my mind thinking about Trump winning the election and now being President. I replayed all of the clips of my people getting mistreated in my head, I thought how the country would turn out in my head and even thought about the song "Change Gon Come". I kept playing the lyrics in my head because this is not Trump's call. This is God's call.
We all know what Trump is about and what he stands for but what can we do now but stick together? It's okay to be angry and it's okay to feel disappointed in the country. We have to keep in mind that the country and the people living here were already fucked up! Unfortunately this had to be wake up call to get us in shape for what's about to happen next. All of this is in God's hands. Also remember, before Obama we didn't have the best President. Now that some of us are older we are becoming aware of what's happening and what's bound to happen. Most of the benefits that were given could be taken. Jobs and education could be messed with. We don't really know the real outcome of this all.
Today is a sad day in America and for my black people, dead the light skin verse light skin, dead killing one another and begin to know what the value behind us are. We have to stick together and leave it to God. We gon' be alright!!!
America, America, America you seem to disappoint me very chance you get right? I mean why vote for someon or give someone the power to run for President without the right credentials? Why worry about emails when you have a racist and a person who disrespects women who could possibly be president? What people are failing to realize is that voting this year is so vital because this our lives on the line. This will be WW3 if Trump gets elected. There is no hope.
Another disagreement that I'm seeing is blacks agansit the choice to vote. I can understand why. Blacks Lives Matter and they don't until someone needs a vote. That is VERY understandable. Here's the downfall with that. There was a time when we could NOT vote and for many years we have had that right today. Also, to those who don't vote, that vote is all for Trump. Do you really want to see Trump in office? He is not for anyone but the whites and himself. I'm not a racist but let's be realistic about what America needs.
We clearly don't have the best choices running for president but what can we really do about it? Think about who can actually do for this country, save the country and help those in need. Don't be a fool. VOTE!!! VOTE!!! VOTE!!!
I can't tell you how funny this post was to me but on a serious note don't call on Jesus when it's bad and forget about Him when it's good. The higher power that you believe in is always around and is watching. When things go bad, be thankful it's not worst. When things are well don't forget to be thankful.
Everything that happens has its but but never forget why you are in the place that you are in today. Aside from Jesus or the higher power that you believe in we all have free will and will do what we feel. In the midst of that though we forget how our future could turn out from the choices that we make. If you are putting out bad energy you will get that. If you are putting out good energy you will get that. Today being happy isn't always about being financially free. Money is great because you are taken care of and get the things you need or want.
People, remember what's really important and don't forget those who got you there and the energy that puts you in a certain position. Nothing comes easy but when you do get it, keep it mind that it can be taken away. Be thankful always.
