First thing’s first l, let keep Megan Thee Stallion in our prayers as she deals with the loss of her mother. As she has told us, she was the best mom in the world and we are sending our love. As she as the peak of her career as well she has the people going crazy over crazy bars. She’s nobody you can compare to other rappers and by her confidence she’s not bothered AT ALL! The first time I heard and saw the rapper was online through Instagram. She did a freestyle on a radio show to the Big Poppa beat. I thought it was impeccable and her style went well with it. That’s a beat that everybody can’t rap on but if there were a challenge and she were one of the contestants, she won and took the crown! Honestly, I think we have a star here and nobody can get in her way.
Ladies and gents, boys and girls, let’s not take this rise as a way of her “stepping on he necks” of other female artists who are much talented as well. The industry, I believe puts so much pressure on female rappers because they go for her looks to determine what she will be worth to them or other people. We have seen this so much through Love & Hip Hop. Female artists feel like they have a word to get out, find a male producer or DJ and these same men want to play with them for their body and try to convince them that they need a certain look. This “look” that they speak of is all the same. They have to doll themselves up to the point they that they get their bodies done just for this DJ or producer to want to go to the fullout extent for his artists. Don’t get me wrong, marketing is very important but a woman should be free to be herself in anything that she’s doesn’t.
Megan Thee Stallion already has the looks, and style when it comes to herself and rap. All of her songs “slap”, as the kids say and we are more than ready for her to keep releasing music. Yes, she’s pretty but she’s no one to play with. I could go on and on about Megan Thee Stallion because her sex appeal also adds to her talent and she’s not trying to impress anyone with who she is, how she raps and her attitude of confidence. No one can get in the way of that. Make sure you follow the artist on the rise @theestallion. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy and that’s all folks!
