I'm not here to spill the tea because The Kenlo Show is not for that. Today I read this post about a woman who support a black business who didn't get her product or her refund. She meant business as we all would if we paid for something that we want. I read it from a perspective that she was angry but also read it from a perspective of support.
In America which is quite evident, my people aren't supported by white people as much as we support their business. No, not every white personal is resist. Let me make this clear. Today, I am seeing so many of my people creating so much business for something that they love every single day. As I've said before we need to elevate and no we are doing it day in and day out. Now this what we have to and this is including myself. For example, I say I need to get clothes all the time I will go to Forever 21 or H&M first forgetting that there are people in my city that have a a great clothing line and have great clothes.
There is nothing wrong with these companies but we put our money into so many other brands when we should support the black community the most. There are so many of us with great things to share so why not? For my birthday I'm wearing all Milan di Rouge (black owned), I want sweat suits from Love Ya Face (black owned) and I'm really a fan of These Pink Lips (black owned and all for woman empowerment).
