One of the most saddest things that this world has experienced is racism between white and blacks. After slavery when blacks were shackled and beaten for their skin color you would think that the culture would learn something from that but they are still stuck in a slave mentality.
These days you are seeing blacks bleach their skin and comform to what society thinks they should look like. Blacks are rising but not all of us are and we should. I say this because we were conditioned for a very long time to believe that we were less than anyone else and that we're ugly because of our hair and features.
Nothing is wrong with the features of a black man or woman but someone outside of this race would think differently. What made me talk about this was I've the fact that I've been seeing how black people are wearing make up and starting to resemble the looks of white peoples. Not all black petiole but some. A prime example of this would be Lil' Kim.

Lil Kim before and after. This saddens me and she is the talk of the town because if you take away the bleached skin and surgery Lil' Kim is very beautiful but this comes from insecurity as well. She said herself that she's always felt insecure because the men she dated cheated on her with women that weren't like her. Black does not mean ugly.
Don't be afraid to be black and walk in all shades of being black.
